Pete Seeger 100th Birthday Singalong
Sunday May 5th our singalong will be devoted to Pete Seeger’s 100th birthday, which is May 3rd 2019. Please bring any Pete Seeger music you have. We may put together some Pete Seeger songbooks or get them from Rise Up and Sing. — Susan A.
Updating our song binder
We have updated our song binder (which has additional songs beyond Rise Up Singing and Rise Again). Thanks to Susan and Esa for doing the update!
We now have PDFs for all the pages in the binder. They are stored on a private Google Drive folder (has to be private so we can comply with copyright). If you come to one of our sessions, you can get access to the folder so you can practice at home.
Fifth Sunday singing
We’ll be singing on Sunday, March 31, from 2-4 p.m., at our usual location. We’ll go over the binders and decide what to leave in or take out.

Annie Patterson singalong concert
Annie Patterson, one of the co-authors of Rise Up Singing and Rise Again will present a singalong concert at our regular venue, the Unitarian Universalist Church of Palo Alto, 505 E. Charleston Rd., Palo Alto, on Saturday, October 20, beginning at 7 p.m. Proceeds will benefit Multifaith Voices for Peace and Justice. If you’d like to volunteer at the event, let us know at the next singing.
We are on for Superbowl Sunday
We have a quorum! There will be at least four people, two guitars, and one autoharp — with three singers saying they might be able to make it.
So we WILL sing this Sunday, Feb. 4, from 2-4 p.m., in Room 1 at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 505 E. Charleston Rd., Palo Alto.
We now have Rise Again songbooks
We now have 15 copies of the new “Rise Again” songbook that we can sing from. Thank you VJ for making this happen!
We’ll have them available next time we sing — this Sunday, September 10, from 2-4 p.m.
